WASHINGTON, DC (June 23, 2026) — The Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau (CIRB) shared the following statement in response to the Senate Agriculture Committee’s release of the Agricultural Act of 2026:
“The Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau (CIRB) applauds the Committee’s willingness to address regulatory challenges and implement key policy changes to improve the farmer’s crop insurance experience while strengthening the public-private partnership that makes crop insurance the most efficient and effective delivery of assistance to farmers.
Crop insurance remains the most utilized risk management tool for America’s farmers and ranchers, and CIRB remains committed to working with members on both sides of the aisle to advance a farm bill that protects and improves this critical part of the farm safety net.”
