Dalynn Hoch
President, Rural Community Insurance Services
Dalynn Hoch is the President of Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS), the crop insurance business of Zurich North America. She is responsible for the growth, profitability and strategic direction for the business and for ensuring strong relationships with key stakeholders in the agriculture industry, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Crop Insurance Services (NCIS), crop agents and the U.S. Congress. Hoch works closely with Zurich North America’s Government and Regulatory Relations team in Washington, D.C. on regulatory and legislative issues related to the federally funded crop insurance program.
Prior to her current role, Hoch served as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Zurich Insurance Group in Switzerland; Chief Financial Officer for Zurich North America, where she oversaw Zurich’s acquisition of RCIS in 2016; and Head of Global Finance Transformation for Zurich Insurance Group. She joined Zurich in 2009 as Head of the Zurich North America Commercial Finance Planning and Performance Management team, where she led the Finance Center of Excellence for the Planning and Performance Management competency. Prior to joining Zurich, Ms. Hoch was a partner at KPMG LLP in Minneapolis.
